Deep depression over eastcentral Bay of Bengal; fishermen advised

The depression over eastcentral and adjoining southeast Bay of Bengal moved northeastwards with a speed of 28 kmph during past 06 hours, intensified into a deep depression and lay centred at 1430 hrs IST today, the 15th April, 2017 over eastcentral Bay of Bengal near Latitude 13.7º N and Longitude 89.5 ºE, about 350 km west-northwest of Mayabunder (Andaman & Nicobar Islands) and 740 km southsouthwest of Kyaukpyu (Myanmar). The system is most likely to intensify further into a cyclonic storm during next 12 hours. It is most likely to move north-northeastwards and cross Myanmar coast between Sittwe and Sandway (Myanmar) by morning of 17th April 2017.
