NCSCM submits ICRZ Maps for two Islands Suggestions & comments invited from general public & stakeholders

The National Centre for Sustainable Coastal Management (NCSCM) has been entrusted with the task of preparation of Island Coastal Regulation Zone (ICRZ) plan and Integrated Island Management Plan (IIMP) for Andaman & Nicobar Islands as per Island Protection Zone Notification, 2011 vide Ministry's DO letter No. 19-7/2006-IA-III (Vol.III) dated 14/03/2014. 
 The NCSCM now has submitted ICRZ Maps for the two Islands i.e South Andaman and Baratang with the request to submit comments & suggestions. These Maps have been uploaded on the website of the Administration: www.and.nic.in and https://southandaman.nic.in. While submitting suggestions & comments on these Maps, provisions of IPZ Notification, 2011 may be referred to.
 Further, the hard & soft copies of the Maps have also been made available in the Office of Chairman, ANCZMA (Chief Secretary, A&N Administration), Member Secretary, ANCZMA [PCCF (CRZ & FC)], Van Sadan, Haddo, Deputy Commissioner (South Andaman/North & Middle Andaman), Member Secretary (Pollution Control Committee), CEO [Zilla Parishad (South Andaman/North & Middle Andaman)], Secretary (PBMC), District Industries Office (South Andaman/North & Middle Andaman), Divisional Forest Officer (South Andaman/Baratang) for the public; and suggestions are invited from the public and other Stakeholders within a period of 30 days, a communication from Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (CZ&FC) said.
