400 ton cargo vessel MV Chuglam re-inducted into service

The 400 ton cargo vessel MV Chuglam has been re-inducted in the fleet of Directorate of Shipping Services. At a brief function held at the Haddo Wharf today, the Commissioner-cum- Secretary Shipping, Shri Sanjeev Khirwar cut the ribbon marking the re-induction of this vessel. The Chief Port Administrator, Shri Tripathi, the Regional Sr. Vice President, SCI, Port Blair, Shri BV Meshram, the Director In- Charge, DSS, Shri R. Veeriah were present on the occasion. The vessel has undergone APS and extensive survey works including revalidation of all Statutory Certificates. The vessel, soon after its re-induction sailed for Hut Bay via Havelock.
