ZPVKV, Ferrargunj celebrates National Youth Day

The Zilla Parishad Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Ferrargunj celebrated the National Youth Day in its premises yesterday. Shri Arjun Sharma, IAS, Secretary (RD/PRI), A & N Administration was the chief guest while Smti M. Rajani, Adhyaksha, Zilla Parishad, South Andaman presided over the function. The function was also attended by Shri Sushant Padha, Chief Executive Officer, ZPSA, Shri Bhanudas Dhakras, AIGS, Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Shri P.A Sharfuddin, Up-Adhyaksh, Shri Abdul Bashir, ZPM, Members of the Zilla Parishad, other dignitaries and a large gathering of local villagers.
The chief guest in his address impressed upon the students to imbibe the teachings and values of Swami Vivekananda in their life. He further vowed to lend all support possible for the development of the School.
In her address, the Adhyaksha, ZPSA pledged for development of the school, upgrading it by one standard every session to bring it to Senior Secondary level. The CEO, ZPSA dwelt on the life of Swami Vivekananda and appreciated the students for the cultural programme.
The students presented a colorful cultural programme on the occasion. The chief guest and other dignitaries distributed
prizes to the winners of various competitions organized by the School.
Shri Abdul Bashir, Zilla Parishad Member, Ferrargunj Constituency proposed the vote of thanks, a press release from ZPSA said.
