MEDP on Coconut Shell Craft Training begins

   Vidya Yuvakendra Foundation, working for the mission for skill development & facilitate suitable employment in Port Blair organized a 20 days MEDP (Micro Enterprises development Programme) on Coconut Shell Craft Training yesterday at Vidya Yuvakendra Foundation conference Hall, Pathergudda. The programme which is supported by NABARD was inaugurated by chief guest Shri. Murali Mohan, Deputy General Manager, NABARD. Shri. Atanu  Sinaha Roy, Executive officer, Khadhi & Village Board was the special guest while Shri. Konthandapani, Manager NABARD was the guest of honour.
   Addressing the gathering, the chief guest urged the participants to make the best use of training and acquaint themselves of the training process and techniques for preparing coconut shell craft products. 
   Shri. A.K Sinha explained about the marketing facility which is facilitated by Industries Department and urged them to utilize it.
   The guest of honour stated that there is ocean of opportunity for their livelihood by undergoing this training. 
        Earlier, the Director, Shri J.Mohanraam Kumar welcomed the gathering.
