Prime Minister concludes successful visit to Switzerland

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi concluded his successful visit to Switzerland while it extended support for India's NSG membership. On black money issue, Switzerland announced that there is some progress made on India's concerns over the issue and a swiss delegation will visit India soon to further the progress made so far on the issue.
The Prime Minister proceeded to Washington on the fourth leg of his five nation visit. In a joint statement, the Prime Minister mentioned about successful indo Swiss collaborations and susessful indo Swiss sports partnerships like Sania Mirza and Martin's Hingis.
Stating that Combating the menace of black money and tax evasion is also our shared priority, Shri Modi said Switzerland also shared a commitment to reform international institutions in line with current global realities. He further said the two countries have
agreed to support
each other for their respective bids for the non-permanent membership of the UNSC. He also thanked the President for Switzerland's understanding and support for India's membership of the NSG. The two countries also agreed to build on the Swiss Vocational and Educational Training system suited to India's needs.
