Animal Welfare Fortnight observance Deptt. of AH&VS conducts mass castration campaign at Campbell Bay

     The Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services (AH&VS) in Campbell Bay, has launched a campaign to address the growing issue of stray cattle and dog population. This initiative is part of the ongoing Animal Welfare Fortnight, a period dedicated to promoting the welfare of animals, raising awareness about their rights, and implementing measures to ensure their well-being.
     To control the rising menace of stray cattle and dogs, the Department organized a mass castration campaign. During the campaign, 5 bulls and 4 
dogs were castrated, a press release from Deptt. of AH&VS said.
