Ease of doing Business @ Digital Initiative Online Fire Clearance Certificate Facility for N&M Andaman & Nicobar District launched

The A & N Fire Service is presently providing online facility for issuance of Fire Clearance Certificate through online Portal (http://andssw1.and.nic.in/swc/depts/fire and http://andssw1.and.nic.in/ospfire) for Port Blair Tehsil of South Andaman only. To improve ease of doing business, on the initiative of Shri Neeraj Thakur, DGP, A & N Islands, facility of online Fire Clearance Certificate (FCC) through Single Window System has now been extended to N & M Andaman and Nicobar District as well. The entire project has been completed in collaboration within NIC, Port Blair.
The online FCC will enable the business community to apply Fire Clearance from anywhere, track the status of their application and receipt of FCC in a time bound manner without any physical visit. Henceforth, all Govt./private enterprises have been advised to submit their application/request for seeking Fire Clearance Certificate (FCC) online, a press release from SP(Fire) said.
