'Zero Tolerance Policy' towards encroachment on Govt. land Revenue Deptt. carries out eviction drive committed over Govt. land at Garacharma: area measuring about 2500 Sq. mtrs. restored

    Continuing its 'Zero Tolerance Policy' towards encroachment on Government land, the Revenue Department of South Andaman District carried out eviction drive committed over Government land at Port Blair Tehsil.  During the drive carried out today, an area measuring 2500 Sq. mtrs. approximately under Sy. No. 1/P in the shape of fencing, plantation and four temporary houses situated at Garacharma village has been removed and the land has been restored to Government Khata.

   Further,  encroachment eviction drives will continue in the coming weeks within Port Blair Tehsil. The general public have been once again cautioned to refrain from encroaching Government land.
