34th Annual Athletic Meet of GSS Delanipur held

The 34th Annual Athletic Meet 2025 of GSS Delanipur was held today in the school premises. The Meet was declared open by the chief guest, Smti. Sangeeta Chand, Principal, SIE/Deputy Education Officer, South Andaman. Smti Archana Singh, Principal, Govt. Girls Sr. Sec School/DDE (Perl) was guest of honour while Smti. S. Bhawani, Principal (Retd) was the special guest.
In her address, the chief guest lauded the spectacular display of March Past, PT, Yoga and Self defence skills by the students. She reiterated the importance of sports in life along with academics for the overall development of students. She also gave away prizes to students who had excelled in various activities.
Earlier, Smti Baby Nazrana, Vice Principal, GSS Delanipur welcomed the gathering.
In the closing ceremony, Shri Ramzan Ali, Councillor, SVPMC, Ward No.3 was the chief guest while Smti. M. Geeta, Vice-Chairperson, SMC was the guest of honour. The meet was declared closed by the chief guest, a press release from GSS Delanipur said.
