Indian Armed forces carry out" Operation Sindoo" against terrorists: 9 terror infrastructures destroyed in Pakistan & PoJK

Indian Armed Forces launched 'Operation Sindoor', post midnight, hitting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir from where terrorist attacks against India have been planned and directed.
The Ministry of Defence in a statement, said, altogether, nine sites were targeted. The Ministry further added that its actions have been focused, measured and non-escalatory in nature. The Ministry informed that no Pakistani military facilities have been targeted. It added, India has demonstrated considerable restraint in selection of targets and method of execution.
The Defence Ministry said, these steps come in the wake of the barbaric Pahalgam terrorist attack in which 25 Indians and one Nepali citizen were killed. It said, armed forces are living up to the commitment that those responsible for this attack will be held accountable.
Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi today hailed the Armed Forces for successfully conducting Operation Sindoor. He was briefing the Union Cabinet in New Delhi for carrying out the Operation.
Sources said, the Prime Minister briefed them about the retaliatory action after the Pahalgam terror attack. Shri Modi was constantly monitoring the Operation Sindoor throughout the night. He was also lauded by the Union Ministers during the meeting.
Meanwhile, the Government has convened an all-party meeting tomorrow at 11 am in the wake of Operation Sindoor. During the meeting, the leaders of different political parties will be briefed by the Government on the operation.
Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi also met President, Smti Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhawan this afternoon. The meeting came hours after India carried out Operation Sindoor at terror sites in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
