Day & Night Sports Department Football Tournament gets underway at JNRM Football Ground

The Day & Night Sports Department Football Tournament - 2025 for Men organized by Department of Sports got underway at JNRM Football Ground, Sri Vijaya Puram today. Youth Clubs, Government Institutions, Private Institutions, Clubs etc. are participating in the tournament.
Shri Vikram Singh, Director (Sports), who was the chief guest inaugurated the tournament and blessed the players for their successful participation in this tournament. Altogether, 24 teams are participating in this Football tournament.
Earlier, Shri. Mohammed Irshad Ahmed, Assistant Director (Sports Phy/Edn.), Directorate of Education welcomed the gathering.
The opening match was played between Meshack Sporting Club and JNRM, in which, JNRM Team defeated Meshack Sporting Club by 1-0 goal, a press release from Education Department said.
