Blood donation camp held at JNRM

The National Service Scheme (NSS) of JNRM organized a voluntary blood donation camp on 1st April 2017 in the JNRM auditorium.  Altogether 46 students donated blood out, of which, 28 were first time donors.  Dr. N. Francis Xavier, Principal JNRM inaugurated the camp.  
         Speaking on the occasion Principal, JNRM appreciated the efforts made by NSS, JNRM in organising blood donation camps at regular interval.  This was the second camp conducted by NSS during the current year.  Large number of girl students have come forward and donated blood voluntarily. 
            Dr. Ganesh Samaddar, Deputy Director, Blood Safety, GB Pant Hospital and Dr. Priyanka from ANIIMS were present on the occasion.  The camp was conducted with the help of the team from GB Pant Hospital and Andaman and Nicobar AIDS Control Society, Port Blair.  The camp was coordinated by Dr.Kandimuthu, Assistant Professor in Economics and Programme Officer, NSS, a communication said.
