PM to interact with students, teachers and parents through 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' today

       Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi will interact with students, teachers and parents in this year's 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' at 7 pm tomorrow (April 7) on TV channels and digital media in Hindi and other major Indian languages.
    This will be a first edition of this mega event which will be held in a virtual mode due to restrictions posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. During the Pariksha Pe Charcha programme, Prime Minister will share ideas and suggestions to prepare and appear in exams without taking any stress.
    In a tweet, PM said, memorable discussion will be held with the exam warriors, parents and teachers in a new format having several interesting questions on a wide range of subjects.
    During the last year's Pariksha Pe Charcha event, Prime Minister has shared valuable tips to the participants. He said, students will play an important role in building a new India in this decade.
    Terming Pariksha Pe Charcha close to his heart, Shri Modi said that through this event, he can find out what the young mind think. PM told that he wants to help the students in overcoming the stress related to exam as a family member.

Earlier an online creative writing competition was conducted at MyGov portal from February 18 to March 14, 2021 for children studying from class IX to XII, teachers and parents. Almost 14 lakh participants from 82 countries have participated in the event, out of which, 2040 participants have been shortlisted through respective SCERTs. From the UT of A&N Islands, 18 participants have been shortlisted by Ministry of Education who have been informed personally through email.
         All the shortlisted students, teachers and parents and all children of class VI and above have been requested to watch the programme on TV Channels/ digital media including http://education.gov.in and YouTube.com from 7 pm on 7th  April, 2021 from their residence or at a place comfortable to them. All the Heads of Schools have also been requested to disseminate this information to all stakeholders for ensuring maximum participation in the event.
