Senior Citizens Maintenance and Welfare Tribunal, South Andaman District constituted

The Lt. Governor has constituted a Senior Citizens Maintenance Tribunal in South Andaman District for the purpose of adjudicating and deciding upon the order of Maintenance of senior citizens.
The Sub Divisional Officer/ Magistrate Assistant Commissioner will be the Chairman of the Tribunal while Medical Officer (In - Charge) and Tehsildar will be its Members.
The general public/senior citizens/parents within the South Andaman District have been informed to bringto notice of Tribunal about the cases pertaining to the issue of Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens noticed within their family/locality, so that the Tribunal can give hearing and take action as per law. Applications should be addressed to the Chairman/SDM South Andaman, Maintenance of Senior Citizen/Parents Tribunal, a communication from the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, South Andaman said here today.
