Two Chess Trainers from Isles earn prestigious FIDE National Instructor Titles

    In a proud moment for the Chess community of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, two esteemed Chess Trainers have successfully completed the FIDE Chess Instructor training program held in Hyderabad, Telangana. They have been awarded the prestigious National Instructor (NI) Title by the World Chess Federation (FIDE). The results were officially announced today.
      The accomplished Trainers, S. Netazi, HGC, A&N Administration and A. Janki Rao, Constable, IRBn both Senior National Arbiters, underwent rigorous training during the program held in November 2024. Following the training, they successfully cleared the challenging trainers' examination, earning the National Instructor title-a testament to their dedication, hard work, and expertise in the game of chess.
     This achievement marks a significant milestone for the Andaman and Nicobar Islands' chess community, as it highlights the Islands' growing contribution to chess, a press release from ANCA said.
