The Gandhi Park is being developed as part of a project namely Green Connect under the Smart City Mission. To oversee the ongoing works, Ms Purva Garg, IAS, the CEO of PB Smart Project Limited (PBSPL) along with officials carried out an inspection today. Expressing satisfaction on the work, the CEO instructed the vendor to expeditiously complete the project.
The CEO further instructed the vendor to include local species of Flora in landscaping and also to make walkway accessible for differently abled persons. The vendor was also instructed to use local materials such as Bamboo/ Cane in the eco-friendly structure being built and also to accommodate local manpower as well. The officials were instructed to monitor the project closely and ensure timely completion, a press release from SVPMC said.
