All India Civil Service Tournament Selection trial for badminton tournament at Netaji Stadium on Mar 12 & 13

 The Central Civil Service Cultural and Sports Board (CCSCSB) under the Department of Personnel and Training, GoI in collaboration with the State and Union Territories every year organises All India Civil Service Tournament in various sports disciplines. These tournaments are open to the civilian employees of the Central and State Government/Union Territory Administration. The Department has decided to participate in the forthcoming AICS Badminton Tournament for men & women, to be held at Kerala from March 21 to 26, 2016. 
  In order to select the team consisting of govt. employees working in A&N Islands for the tournament, a selection trial will be held on March 12 & 13, 2016 from 8 am to 1 pm at Multipurpose hall, Netaji Stadium, Port Blair. 
  However, certain categories will not be eligible to take part in the All India Civil Service Badminton Tournament viz. a newly recruited sports men will not be allow to take part in the AICS tournament unless he has put a minimum service if 6 months in the regular establishment services before the comment of the tournament/competitions; Govt. employees attached to office on temporary duty; uniform personal in service/part/Police/RPF; casual/daily wages workers; public sector undertaking and banks and inclusion of in eligible players in the AICS tournament will lead to elimination of the team from the tournament. 
  All the concerned Head of Offices and Head of Department have been requested to send the list of Badminton players for selection trail on or before March 11, 2016. Coaching camp will be conducted for the selected players at Netaji Stadium, a communication said.
