DCPU (SA) conducts workshop on exam stress for inmates of Seva Niketan

    District Child Protection Unit (SA) team under District Administration conducted a workshop at Seva Niketan Children Home, Dairy Farm today to cope up with stress related with examinations. The program started with an activity based on perspective of inmates during examination. The Counsellor, DCPU (SA) emphasised some important steps to relief themselves from the stress by taking regular break, exercise and getting outdoors, speak to someone, getting sound sleep which would help the children to relieve from the examination stress.
    Further, the District Child Protection Officer (SA) had an interactive session with the children on the usage of internet, since it has both pros and cons and the responsibility of children towards accessing the same. The District Administration ensures to conduct such programmes for the inmates of Child Care Institutes, so that children are at ease to cope up with the situations in a positive manner, a press release from DCPU (SA) said.
