Exposure Trip to Metrological Department

The Science Centre, Port Blair had organized an exposure trip to Metrological Department, Shadipur, Port Blair for the students who are presently attending a week long training of Creative Science programme as part of holiday camp 2018. The students were briefed about the importance of Metrological Department and functioning of various equipments like barometer, thermograph, hydrograph, rain gauge, thermometers, anemometer and many more attached to the unit.
Shri Sourish Bandopadhyay, Officer In-charge, Metrological Department coordinated the programme and interacted with the participating students, a communication said.
