Block-Level Training Prog. on 'Strategies for Creating Compressive Block Panchayat Development Plan' held

The CD Block of Little Andaman organized a Block Level Training Program on 'Strategies for Creating a Compressive Block Panchayat Development Plan' today at Panchayat Samiti Hall, Little Andaman. This initiative was conducted under the Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan (RGSA) and targeted local officials, including Block Planning Committee and Panchayat Samiti members.
The program was inaugurated by Shri Raja, Up-Pramukh, Panchayat Samiti, Little Andaman. Shri Belthazer, Block Development Officer (BDO), highlighted about the Block Panchayat Development Plan and Gram Panchayat Development Plan.
Shri Mohammed Arif, State Programme Manager, explained the Framework for Preparation of Block Panchayat Development Plan (BPDP) & steps for preparing Block Panchayat Development Plan and discussions on integrating Government Schemes etc.
The program also featured discussions by Shri G. Santosh Kumar, AE (PRI), Shri G. Venkata Ramana, JE (PRI), and Smti. E. Maheswari, Panchayat Samiti Member on GPDP, BPDP, Gram Sabhas, and Government-Sponsored Schemes, a press release from BDO, Little Andaman said.
